January Dinner Event, Sunday Jan 29

WOW!

Wow is all that comes to mind when I realize that January is already almost over… It still feels like the first week of the new year, and here we are, already approaching February. So happy 2012 everybody!

I am very excited to announce our January dinner event. Inspired by local, seasonal produce, as well as my lust for the return of warmer days,  we’ve decided to give it a bit of a Mediterranean  flair.

Castle Gourmet January Menu, Sunday Jan 29, 2012

Salad: Crisp Chicory and Winter Vegetable Salad ~  Sunchoke, Blueberry and Sweet Pea, Candied Hazelnut Crunches, Poached Apple Vinaigrette  

Start: Mediterranean Tart Trio ~ Spicy Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato Matbucha, Caramelized Onion and Olive Tapenade Tartlets

Main: Eggplant Parmesan Timbale, Celery Root and Sweet Potato Gratin, Seared King Oyster Mushroom Scallops

Dessert:  Lemon Olive Oil Cake, Rosemary sorbet

All dishes are organic, and meat and animal product free (vegan). Menu is subject to change.
