  • Change of schedule: New date for our next dinner!

    Things change! And sometimes those things are dates.
    Announcing a new date for the (no longer in) February dinner event! We’ve had to rearrange some things, and are unable to host the dinner originally planned this weekend. Instead! We will be moving the event by 1 week to the following weekend. Join us Sunday, March 4th for our  DUETS dinner event!

  • February's dinner event: a celebration of DUETS

    Happy Valentine’s Day! Happy February!

    We are very pleased to announce that the next Castle Gourmet Dinner Event will be Saturday, February 25! In the spirit of the season and in February’s celebration of St Valentine, the theme of this dinner is DUETS. From perfect opposites to harmonious pairings, this dinner will encompass dishes that embrace and play with the dualities of food and life.

    Here is the tentative menu (subject to change):

    First – FIRE AND ICE: Cooling Avocado Lime Ceviche with Pepitos, Jalapeno Ice, Red Pepper Heat Coulis

    Second – SOUP TWO WAYS: Duo of Creamy Root Vegetable Soups

    Main – PB&J: Satay Spiced Peanut Butter and Tomato Jelly Sandwich served with Plum Glazed Cucumber Salad

    Dessert – CHEESE AND CRACKERS: A sweet and playful take on the classic.

    We will again be offering a wine pairing paired by Silverlake Wine Shop. More details to come on this when it is finalized.

    All menu items are fresh, organic, and meat & animal product free. More details to come.

    The cost of the dinner is $45 per person for all 4 courses. The wine pairing is an additional $20 and includes wine paired with the first 3 courses.
